About me

I am a clinical social worker licensed in South Carolina (LISW-CP) with over 20 years of experience working in the field of oncology and behavioral health. Primarily, I have worked with clients who have struggled with anxiety, stress, depression, and grief/loss due to a cancer diagnosis, medical issues or other life changes. I have also helped people who have been overwhelmed and stuck emotionally. I have been a Certified Oncology Social Worker (OSW-C) for 15 years and an approved Clinical Social Work Supervisor in South Carolina since 2019. My therapy style is collaborative and strength based. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, and client centered therapies to empower and support clients in the therapeutic process. Each individual is unique and I will craft a treatment plan centered around you and your specific needs. Mental health issues are not a weakness and through compassion, empathy, trust and respect I will work with you to help you improve your quality of life. I feel people possess necessary skills for positive change in their lives. My goal is to help you uncover your potential and find motivation for change. Asking for help and embracing change can be difficult. I am willing to work with you and support you on your journey!
