About Catherine

Hello! I'm Catherine (she/her), and I'm a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Massachusetts. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Mount Holyoke College, and my Master's Degree in Social Work from New York University. I have over 17 years of direct clinical experience and have worked in various settings, including a secure residential program for adolescent girls, group homes for adults with major mental illness, and outreach for clients living independently in the community. I've been providing therapy online since November 2019. In our work together, I will help you uncover the roots of your "stuff," become aware of when that "stuff" is impacting day-to-life, and give you concrete tools to help you start working towards specific goals right away. At the same time, if you'd rather just talk, we can do that too. Clients have said that they appreciate my willingness to help, my abilities in providing help, and doing so with a healthy sense of humor. In summary, I will strive to help you by providing empathy, reminding you of your strengths, and helping you acquire skills and access resources to handle life's curve balls. Let's get started!
