About me

I am a personable, dedicated, and genuine Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 combined years of experience as a social worker and life coach. My experience includes working with clients with a vast range of concerns such as: depression and anxiety, relationship and family conflict, stress management, ADHD, parenting problems, career challenges, intimate-partner violence, and emotional, physical, or sexual abuse and trauma. In addition, I have experience working with people who are having to face the difficult decision to place their elderly relative into short and long-term care facilities, people facing homelessness or displacement, and having suicidal ideation. My belief is that everyone should be treated with dignity and respect. In every work environment that I have worked from schools, to governmental agencies, to psychiatric hospital settings, to private practice, I make a conscience effort to show not only compassion and warmth, but also a respect and genuine rapport with my clientele. Throughout the years, I have learned that it is not enough to simply treat people the way that you would want to be treated, but to treat them the way that they want to be treated as well. My therapeutic approach is integrative drawing from Gestalt, Humanistic, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal, and Systems Theory. Of utmost importance to me is to meet you where you are to determine which treatment modality fits best for your specific needs. Whether you are in constant conflict at home with family, having challenges at work or with a child, just adopted a child or are a foster parent who needs additional support, are having relationship or financial problems that increases your stress levels-making it more difficult to function, I would like to partner with you to help you meet the goals that you would like to achieve. I am excited about the opportunity to partner with you to help you achieve a more fulfilling and enriching life. You have already taken the first step in a positive direction by landing on this page. I would be honored for you to allow me to support and empower you along the way. If you are ready, I am listening….let’s begin!
