Hi! Welcome to Betterhelp! I am Candance Hammonds a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the state of North Carolina. I have been working in the Mental Health Profession for over 20 years. I have been in practice as a Licensed Counselor for 17 years. I have experience in working with Adolescents and Adults. I work with individuals with a variety of concerns including Anxiety, Depression, Relationship Issues, Parenting Issues, ADHD, and Foster Care/Adoption. I also help individuals who have experienced abuse and neglect. I am first a foremost a helper at heart and love being a counselor. In our work together you can expect sessions to be focused on the outcomes you want to achieve. I believe the counselor-client relationship is key to achieving the goals of counseling. I have a Cognitive- Behavior Therapy approach to counseling, along with being client-centered. I look forward to our journey together.
