About me

I am Caleb Lytle and I have been a counselor since 2015. Louisiana is where I have been practicing the art of counseling. I enjoy going to church, spending time with my wife and children, and hanging out with family and friends. During football season, the New Orleans Saints are who we root for. My experience include being a Clinical Assessor and Team Leader at Merakey in Shreveport, Louisiana the last four years. The Counsel on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse had me as their Program Director of the Adolescent Unit for over two years. I spent another year at the same company helping with addiction on outpatient counseling. Other experience includes treating sexual offenders, helping children at summer camps, working for drug court in Shreveport, and was Clinical Manager at Peaceful Alternatives Counseling. Education includes a four year bachelor degree in psychology at Louisiana State University of Shreveport and a masters degree in counseling psychology at the same school. Two years of internship were required for the state of Louisiana after completing masters degree. My treatment approach is spiritual, calm, friendly, and supportive. I think I can help people progress through problems. Change can be difficult, but it does not have to be! I look forward to helping you!
