Brianna Sewell

Hello! My name is Anna and I am a licensed professional counselor and certified rehabilitation counselor in the state of Arkansas. I have over 6 years experience working in the mental health field and have worked in a variety of settings, such as outpatient, residential, and substance abuse treatment centers. I have worked with several populations, including children, adolescents, and adults, with a wide range of concerns, such as substance abuse, trauma, physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, depression, & anxiety, to name a few. My counseling approach is warm, nonjudgmental, and empathetic. My belief is that we are all more alike than we are different and that everyone deserves to be respected and accepted. I most often work with cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, rational-emotive-behavioral-therapy, existential, and person-centered intervention techniques, and strive for a collaborative approach in your treatment. I believe in starting off where you are comfortable, and establishing your treatment goals and objectives together, with the primary goal being to help you overcome your obstacles to becoming the you that you can and want to be. Beginning the counseling journey can be overwhelming in the beginning, but can lead to an improved quality and perspective on life and I would love to work with you on that journey. Outside of my role as a therapist, I am a single mom of three little girls, and spend most of my time outside of work shuttling kids to and from all sorts of activities and I enjoy cooking, reading, and spending time with my girls.
