About me

I am a cradle Catholic who was ordained to the Permanent Deaconate in the Kalamazoo Diocese on April 13th, 2024 with my wife of 32 years. It has been my experience that most of our emotional problems occur from a lack of love. While there are certainly biological/psychological issues affecting behavior, the Sacraments can go a long way to healing our emotional wounds. Life is all about finding that balance between what we can control and what we can’t. I would be happy to listen to you and help you find that balance through clearer thinking and by setting/communicating proper boundaries. Please note: You do not have to be a “practicing” Catholic in order to receive counseling services from me. I work with people from all faith traditions and people who have little or no faith. I only apply Catholic/Christian faith-based counseling to those who request it.
