About Asuqwo
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have been working in the mental health field for about eight years. I have worked with adolescents, adults, and the elderly. I have helped individuals adjust to major life changes such as grief and loss, depression, anxiety, chronic illness, anger management, pain management, and other issues individuals experience. I provide an empathetic, compassionate and nonjudgmental space for my clients to be accepted and feel safe. I utilize person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and a strength-based approach to meet each individual's needs while also being culturally competent.
