About me

I believe that life is full of dialectics (two opposing truths) that need to be accepted and balanced in one’s life to maintain a harmony between peace of mind, peace of heart, and peace within relationships. As a therapist, I help my clients help themselves to achieve or to restore this balance. I have aimed at providing a counseling experience that exudes unconditional positive regard and non-judgmental energy, where my clients will feel the freedom to explore their various emotional challenges while collaboratively setting goals with the hopes of helping them restore their personal serenity. I have 11 years of counseling experience with clients who identify with the LGBTQ+ community in various ways. My counseling style comes from an eclectic mix of Person-Centered Talk Therapy, DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy), Reality Therapy/Choice Theory, and REBT (Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy); I believe in providing clients effective coping skills to use in their daily lives which have been scientifically proven to help clients to improve the overall quality of many aspects of their lives. Counseling is a journey of healing and growth, I feel honored to join my clients on their unique journey.
