About Angela

Great to meet you! I’m Angela Ott, a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Tarleton State University. I believe beginning therapy is a courageous step, and my goal is to provide a safe, compassionate, and judgment-free environment where clients feel heard, understood, and supported. I view therapy as a collaborative process and work with each client to develop treatment that reflects their individual needs, experiences, strengths, and goals. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing a variety of emotional, behavioral, and relational concerns. Areas of focus include anxiety, depression, trauma and stress-related concerns, emotional regulation, anger, life transitions, relationship and family concerns, parenting challenges, communication difficulties, self-esteem, and coping with everyday stressors. I work with individuals who are neurodivergent, ASD, AuDHD, and ADHD. I also work with individuals who are in the LGBTQ+ community. I also enjoy working with parents and families to improve communication, cooperation, emotional regulation, and relationships within the family. I believe therapy is not about changing who you are. It is about developing a deeper understanding of yourself, recognizing your strengths, learning effective tools, and creating meaningful change. Whether you are facing a difficult season, struggling with emotions or relationships, or simply feeling stuck, you don't have to navigate it alone Read more Show less
