About Anam

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago, followed by a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. My counseling experience spans a diverse range of clinical needs, including substance use and addiction, family and marriage concerns, domestic violence, young adults, anxiety, depression, and significant life transitions. My approach is client-centered, with an emphasis on creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard and empowered. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), helping clients recognize patterns of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and develop practical strategies for meaningful, lasting change. I believe therapy is a collaborative process and strive to meet each client where they are while supporting them in building greater self-awareness, resilience, and confidence. Read more Show less
