About Alexandra

I work with individuals and couples, 18 and older, with mental health and emotional concerns, such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues and life transitions. Whether you are in a phase of life transition, struggling to get through each day, having a difficult time maintaining relationships, or more, I am here to help. Oftentimes, symptoms of a mood or thinking disorder are a result of past trauma that has not been processed or dealt with. I specialize in trauma work and getting to the root of the problem so you can live a happy, healthier life without your past interfering. My treatment approaches are guided by the methods of CBT, DBT, EMDR, The Gottman Method, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I believe in providing a therapeutic environment based on authenticity, warmth, and support. I strive to assist each client in finding their personal strengths and empowering them to accomplish their treatment and life goals. Building a healthy therapeutic relationship is my first goal when meeting a new client. It is important to me that individuals and couples are comfortable and feel as if they can be their true authentic selves. Read more Show less
