The Rhode Island Technical Assistance Project (RITAP) is a statewide resource center providing technical assistance, professional development, training, and policy analysis for state and local agencies, institutions of higher learning, and families. RITAP is a collaborative effort between the Rhode Island Department of Education, Office of Special Needs, and Rhode Island College, working together to support the delivery of quality education and support services for all children, including those with disabilities. Our resources are designed to help practitioners, parents, and policymakers increase their capacity to provide comprehensive, coordinated services that result in improved educational performance and enhanced life-long outcomes.
