Special Olympics Illinois – Region E Homewood

Special Olympics Illinois (SOILL) serves athletes in all 102 counties in the state, providing them with access to local programming through 11 geographic Regions. Region E Homewood covers Grundy, Kankakee, South Suburban Cook, and Will counties and is led by a Region Director who oversees all Region programming. The team is also responsible for sports programming, fundraising campaigns, outreach, communication, education initiatives, and more. SOILL provides athletes with the opportunity to compete at the Region Qualifier and, if they earn a gold medal, advance to the State Championships.
