About Special Olympics Illinois – Region C Lombard

Special Olympics Illinois (SOILL) is dedicated to providing sports programming, fundraising campaigns, outreach, communication, and education initiatives for athletes in all 102 counties of the state. Region C, located in DuPage, Kane, Kendall, and West Suburban Cook counties, is one of 11 SOILL geographic regions responsible for local implementation. SOILL athletes compete in Region Qualifiers, and those who earn gold medals may advance to State Championships. The Region Team is comprised of several individuals, including a Region Director who oversees all aspects of region programming. By striving to offer quality programming, SOILL is committed to creating an inclusive and equitable environment for all athletes.
