Philip B. Callahan is a trained psychoanalytic and relational therapist specializing in play therapy, art, music, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness. With over 20 years of experience in school settings across Baltimore City, Montgomery County, and Prince George’s County, Philip combines his work as a school counselor in a special education facility with private practice. He has extensive experience working with a variety of diagnoses including ADHD, Depression, Aspergers Syndrome, Autism, Anxiety, and learning disabilities. Philip’s approach is rooted in genuine care, respect, meeting clients where they are, and focusing on strengths. His goal is to build trusting relationships with his clients in order to help them develop self-esteem, manage anxiety and anger, and overcome other issues.
