Dr. Matt Gotthold of Matthew Gotthold M.D. | Wilmington was born in Merchantville, New Jersey. He attended Franklin and Marshall College and Hahnemann University Medical College to obtain his medical degree. After graduating, Dr. Gotthold completed his pediatric residency and was asked to take over the well-respected practice of Forrest Hawkins, MD in North Wilmington. He is a Board-Certified pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Gotthold is married to Diana, with whom he met in kindergarten, and they have three children and two chocolate labs. When not with his family, Dr. Gotthold can be found playing music, attending Philadelphia sports events, reading, cooking, gardening, hiking, and working on various projects.
