About Great Strides Long Island

At Great Strides Long Island, we strive to foster the bond between horses and humans. We believe in the power of the horse-human relationship to bring strength and healing to all who can benefit. Since World War II, horses have been used to help veterans overcome their challenges. More recently, studies have proven that this relationship can bring strength of body, mind, and soul to children and adults with special needs. We are dedicated to sharing this unique bond and helping others experience the same joy and wonder that comes from being around horses.
