At FAR Therapeutic Arts and Recreation Birmingham Sessions, we offer a wide range of programming options drawing from the fields of art therapy, music therapy, dance therapy, and recreational therapy to provide clients the best approach for their individual needs. Unlike traditional education, our focus is less on the subject matter and more on the clients’ development. Our experienced therapists use creative arts and recreational activities to help clients overcome physical, intellectual, and emotional barriers; develop new skills; build self-esteem; improve interpersonal relationships; become part of a community; and discover the joy of self-expression. We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to realize their full potential and strive to make it a reality through our unique therapeutic approaches.
