About Bay Area Legal Aid | Alameda County

Bay Area Legal Aid, based in Alameda County, stands for justice for all. We provide help to the 1.2 million people living in poverty in the Bay Area, including low- and very low-income workers, seniors, veterans, and people with disabilities. Our mission is to ensure that justice is not denied, and that our clients have access to food, shelter, and protection to move out of poverty and towards self-reliance. We provide services across our seven county service area, from San Francisco to Livermore, Gilroy to Napa. We strive to be the advocates and protectors of those in need, and to ensure that justice is within everyone’s reach.
