About me

If you are like most human beings, you are doing your best trying to deal with the cards life dealt you. You are motivated and want to improve the quality of your life; only life hasn’t always provided you with the answers. If you are like most people, you have put in a lot of effort and often ended up disappointed in those ‘proven’ methods. However, your life and your brain are unique. Just like you can’t debate whether a hammer or screwdriver is ‘better’, there is no ‘best’ psychological method. For the past 2 decades I’ve treated thousands of patients. In addition to specialized training in traditional methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, parenting, bio/neurofeedback, anxiety & OCD therapy, I devoted my career to research & help patients understand the science behind their emotions & to learn to deal with them effectively. In one-on-one psychotherapy we are a team. The foundation of our relationship is client-centered and empathy is at the core of my work. My main goal is to understand things from your perspective and if necessary provide you with information, so that together, we can choose the approaches that will be tailored to you.
